Island Luv
Profits from this Island Luv keyring support the Our Island Our Homes Campaign led by Torres Strait Islanders to protect their island homes from climate change.
As part of the ‘Our Islands Our Home’ campaign, eight claimants from Zenadth Kes (the Torres Strait) also known as the Torres Strait 8 have brought a human rights complaint against the Australian Federal Government for failing to protect the Torres Strait from climate change.
Aboriginal Flag
We are so excited to see the Aboriginal Flag making it's return to the world! It was a significant moment in history when together we #FreedTheFlag. The Government made an announcement on the 25th Jan, 2022 to see this iconic flag- that has become a symbol of Aboriginal Australia - freed and available for public use.
Aboriginal Flag Meaning
The top half of the flag is black to symbolise Aboriginal people. The red in the lower half stands for the earth and the colour of ochre, which has ceremonial significance. The circle of yellow in the centre of the flag represents the sun. The designer Harold Thomas says the colours of the flag represent the Aboriginal people of Australia and their spiritual connection to the land.
Always Was
Carry your values everywhere. Protest signs are a powerful and important way for people to express their feelings.  'Always was, always will be' is statement of a resilience, survival, deep connection and celebration.
You will hear "always was always will be" chanted at marches and protests of First Nations people and seen on tees and signs across the country. It's a reminder that sovereignty was never ceded and it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
BLAK LUV
These red, black and yellow hearts on your socials to express pride and support for Aboriginal people and causes.
EMPTY FLAG
The Empty Flag design was created as an alternative to the Aboriginal flag whilst we campaigned to #FreeTheFlag and raise awareness of the Aboriginal flag copyright issue. The flag was freed on 25.01.2022 and the empty flag lives on as a symbol of the impact of political fashion.
