Refund policy
Some items may be considered for return/exchange due to condition on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our team at hello@greencollect.org with details so they can review your case.
Refunds will not be issued for items not collected within 28 days of confirmation.
$35 or Under Items
Please note that while we do our best to maintain a standard across the board, items $35 or under will be more likely to have marks or blemishes. We do our best to clean appropriately but some items are not able to receive the same level of care. Please remember that all items are secondhand and that by supporting Green Collect, you are ensuring items live on longer, even if they are a little bruised.
Faulty Items
Contact us at hello@greencollect.org if your items are defective, damaged, or incorrect with photos and details. The teams will evaluate the issue and take appropriate action, including possible refunds or exchanges.
To be eligible for refund on faulty item, it must be:
- In the same condition as received (unused, unworn).
- Returned with all original tags and packaging, if applicable.
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
Customers are expected to fully inspect their item upon receiving to ensure quality matches expectations and any faults are identified within time. Items must be reported as faulty within 5 days of receiving item, and must be returned within 5 days of receipt to be eligible and to ensure a smooth refund.
- Items received by post must be returned within 10 days.
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
We recommend using trackable shipping methods, as we cannot guarantee the return of your item without tracking.
Non-Returnable Items
Items that cannot be returned include:
- Perishable goods.
- Custom products.
- Hazardous Materials.
No returns are accepted for sale items, or gift cards.
- Inspection and Approval: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval status of your refund.
- Refund Timing: If your refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method within 5 business days.
- Processing Delays: Please remember that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
