From collections and sorting to retail, we prioritise employing team members who are often underestimated. We aim to offer a new beginning for the items we receive and sell – and for the people that make it happen.
Making notebooks with recycled materials
Each year, more than 45,000 ring binders end up in our warehouse. We have crafted specialised machines to manually dismantle the binders, rescuing every component.
The binder rings are recycled, while the stiff cardboard is turned into notebook covers. We use salvaged Melways and X-rays to make covers. This solution is emblematic of Green Collect’s approach to a huge range of surplus products—truly making the most of everything.
