Why a clutter-free office makes a more sustainable workplace.

At Green Collect, we proudly deliver clean and green offices, but did you know that we can also deliver productivity? That's right. Studies report that 94% of employees feel more productive when working in a clean and organised environment.  It’s not a surprise to hear that there is a psychological link between office clutter and fatigue and our Office Clean Out services are the ethical antidote to resolve this.

Now that the new year dust has settled, it is time to get serious about the end-of-season items that are taking up physical real estate in your workspace and impacting team efficiency. An office clean out enables organisations to reduce employee stress, champion eco-friendly initiatives and also participate in the circular economy.

How it works

  1. We’ll deliver empty cages to your site, for you to keep for up to 10 working days, filling with your items as you clean.

  2. We’ll collect your items and bring them back to our warehouse where our team will hand-sort each item for its best environmental outcome - prioritising reuse.

  3. We’ll report back to you the quantity and category of the items we’ve processed. This enables you to get a sense of the environmental impact you have made just by simply clearing out your office space.

What happens next

With a cleaner environment, your workplace is primed for productivity, and you are more empowered to maintain a circular mindset. When only 20% of workers believe their workplaces are doing enough for the planet, knowing how to declutter sustainably demonstrates an ongoing commitment to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives.

Organising an office clean out with Green Collect can reduce your carbon footprint and also contributes to worker retention. Employees are 11 times more likely to stay at a job that supports environmental and social causes. As a work-integrated social enterprise, this is important to us and aligns with our advocacy for creating meaningful employment opportunities. We ensure our employees, some of whom have experienced previous barriers to employment, are welcomed into an inclusive, caring and most-of-all clean workplace. As a people and planet operation, we are committed to fostering a thriving team culture for our diverse workforce.

Make Green Collect part of your clean and green dream office. From collecting surplus office supplies to even old furniture collection, get in touch about how we can implement long-term solutions. Together, we can generate significant positive social and environmental impact and organisational culture through something as simple as an office clean out.
