UPSKILL YOUR OFFICE’S CIRCULAR ECONOMY SKILS

Green Collect has been leading the circular economy space for over 20 years and in that time, have seen the growing volume of discarded stationery and office items that are not being used to their full potential. Items that still possess value get discarded in a way that damages the products and reduces next-life opportunities. We identified a growing demand for education and innovation to change how we perceive waste, resources and our ability to make an impact. This is what inspired us to create our Circular Capabilities Program (CCP), giving back to our community and creating opportunities for change.

THE CIRCULAR CAPABILITIES PROGRAM

The Circular Capabilities Program (CCP) has been designed for service-sector organisations to engage with circular economy practices and develop solutions for long-term circularity.

Outcomes:

Increased knowledge and awareness of circular economy, leading to behaviour change.

More circular procurement (buy less, buy better)

  • Extended product lifecycle (use for longer)

  • More circular end-of-life outcomes for office items (resource recovery)

GUIDING YOUR WORKPLACE WITH OUR CIRCULAR PRACTICE SERVICES

  • Our Circular Practice Services can support your organisation no matter at what point of the journey you are in, providing tools to develop your team’s circular economy knowledge further. Our services are flexible and reflect your needs, which can include:

  1. Our Circular Economy Learning Module is an online short course (approx. 60 mins) that runs through the basics of circular economy in an office environment. The Circular Economy Module is an opportunity for staff members to learn the basics about circular practices.

  2. The Circular Economy Practices Kit gets you started on this journey, with guides and templates that support you in procurement, asset management and waste assessment. The Kit also includes a circular supplier directory, pointing you in the direction of suppliers who also follow circular, ethical and sustainable practices.

  3. Lifecycle Mapping allows us to analyse the life of an item such as your furniture or even work uniforms, exploring its procurement, functionality and next-life outcomes. Together we look at where you can implement changes to source more sustainable items, extend item lifespans, and dispose accordingly.

  4. Behaviour Change activities help your organisation change for the better and make the change as easy as possible. This can include waste education games, trivia competitions, or ongoing challenges for the whole org. to get involved in.
